What is Missing Animal Response?
Missing Animal Response ( Lost Pet Recovery Training) or “MAR” is a professional training program developed in 2005 by Kat Albrecht, a leading pioneer of the lost pet industry. MAR training breaks down the process of a pet being lost, then shows us how to understand lost pet behavior along with time tested techniques in recovering those lost pets.
In the MAR Training You will Learn About:
- Lost Dog Behavior
- Lost Cat Behavior
- How to Make Large Neon Posters
- Why We Say Don’t Call Your Dog!
- How to Tag Your Car Like a Mobile Billboard and so much more!!!
Video About MAR and Kat Albrecht
Recorded in 2011, this video (filmed for a pitch for a reality TV show) demonstrates what Missing Animal Response (MAR) is and how professionally trained volunteers and for-profit “pet detectives” use high-tech equipment, search dogs, animal capturing tools, and knowledge of lost pet behaviors to help recover lost dogs and cats. Our vision is that ALL communities would have professionally trained volunteer MAR teams to help recover lost pets, just like Buddy was fortunate enough to have!
