Lost Dogs Illinois (LID) is a nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes of reuniting families with their lost dogs which will in turn decrease the number of homeless animals coming to shelters and/or animal control facilities.
In 2010 we saw the need to help Illinois residents in the recovery of their lost dogs. Many people give up, do not have the resources to help them, or the money to pay for a professional “pet detective”. By providing a service, we will provide resources and education to assist people in their search of lost dogs.
