On February 14 after just moving in to our new home 4 days earlier our little 17 lb American hairless terrier, Peanut somehow came out of her collar and ran off. We did as most would do and immediately started to look for her and put flyers up. The following day as our panic was growing by the minute our breeder suggested contacting Balynda Brown and her K9 tracking dog Bravo. I immediately contacted her and within a couple of hours she called me and began giving me vital instructions on what to do in order to get Peanut home safely. After 6 days of following her instructions and no sightings with snow in the forecast Balynda and Bravo drove almost 5 hours to come and track Peanut. Bravo immediately picked up on Peanut’s scent and from there we had an area identified to set up our feed stations and cameras. Every day no matter what time it was if I had a question I could reach out and text Balynda and she would answer and be there to guide me through the day. After 11 long days Peanut was located exactly where Bravo had tracked her to. If it was not for Bravo’s tracking and Balynda’s expertise and guidance I don’t think our Peanut would have made it home. We are forever grateful for Balynda and Bravo.
